In short: Wigly has no account and no login. What you enter stays on your own iPhone. We don't collect personal data, show ads or track you.

What stays on your iPhone

Your kids' names and ages, your favorites, your play history and your settings.
This data only lives on your device (and on your Apple Watch if you use it). We can't access it.
If you delete the app, this data is gone.

Read aloud with Wigly's voice

With Wigly Plus, Wigly reads games aloud. To do this, the app only sends the text of the game (for example a game step) to our voice server at Cloudflare. It creates the recording with ElevenLabs and stores it so everyone can use the same recording. No names, ages or other personal data are sent. Cloudflare technically processes your IP address to prevent abuse; we don't store it.

Microphone, camera and speech

Dictation and voice control: what you say is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition, on your iPhone where possible. Nothing is recorded or stored.
Quiet contest: Wigly only listens to the sound level, on your iPhone. Nothing is recorded.
Photo of the room: Wigly recognizes objects on your iPhone itself. The photo is not sent or stored.
Inventing games: done with Apple Intelligence on your device, or with the built in game maker.
Motion sensor: only to notice that your phone is face down or being shaken.

Apple Health

If you turn on Movement to Apple Health in Family, Wigly writes a Play workout to Apple Health after an active game, with the playtime and an estimate of the energy burned. Wigly doesn't read anything from Health. This data stays in Health on your iPhone and is never sent to us or anyone else. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.

Subscription

You buy Wigly Plus through Apple. Apple handles payment; we never see payment details or your name, only whether your subscription is active.

Notifications

Reminders and the play timer are notifications scheduled by your iPhone itself. No server is involved.

Children

Wigly is made for parents and caregivers to play together with kids. Kids don't need to enter anything, and no data about children is collected or shared.
